This is my grizzly bear, the pictures aren't very clear but you can just about make them out.

I drew the outline, using images of grizzly bears as my reference, I then scanned the images into photoshop and played around with them. I'm thinking that for my final major project that I could design a collection of cards and look at the history and existing cards etc. I'd really like to illustrate a book however the card idea seems like a more practical idea for the level I'm working at. Do I want to push myself?? I think I'll keep practising and if I feel I'm capable of illustrating a book I shall do that :)

I've been drawing alot of animal's recently, as you can see I have two foxes, a pug and a polar bear. I think that Animals can be expressive in a way humans cannot. It's a lovely thing to draw. I've been scanning these pictures in to photoshop and editing them. I've completed one today which I'm about to upload in a separate post. For now I can see myself drawing a lot more

Le Tent

I began my tent this week :) I was really nervous about starting and I was just putting it off, so I've pushed me self to begin it :)

I've been collecting materials for a few weeks/months now, from church sales and my boyfriends underwear draw. I just need to get iron-on transfer paper and a lot of pornography images as well as Barbies and bra's, all will be revealed in due time :)        

 

At the moment I'm just pinning all the materials into place, to see if I like the positioning enough. I'm using felt because its a material that children use and it's also practical, doesn't need seeming etc :) I think so far it looks good, better than I first thought and with more layering and more images, I think it could become quite powerful.
